Peace be to this house...

I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  Thanks to my amazing husband and children.  I loved spending the day with my mom and dad and father in law.  I even got a surprise visit from my mother in law after her day at the beach.  It was a great day.  I am very blessed and thankful.

Luke Aaron was 1 week old on Mother's Day.

All the fun tuckered him out...lol.  This is pretty much how he spent the day, except when he was hooked up to his Mommy.

And into whatsoever house ye enter,
first say, Peace be to this house.
-Luke 10:5

So many times, we think we can speak life to others and for other families but not our own.  Like it is vanity or selfishness to speak such things.  The scripture above says that whatsoever house ye enter...that can be your own home.

If your home is full of babies or teenagers or even if it's just you and your spouse...speak Peace.  What if you live alone?  Speak Peace.

What makes a home peaceful?  Is it when it's free of mess and quiet?  No!  A quiet home can have an underlying tension that is more like a time-bomb ready to explode and everyone is on edge. Even if your home is loud with children screaming, music playing, people talking, dishes in the sink, table full of stuff, laundry to do...you can still have a home full of peace.

How can peace abide in such chaos?  When God is the center of your home, peace abides there.  So speak peace, speak the Word of God over your home.  Not in a condemning way but with love and joy.  Speak Peace to this House!!!  Let His love fill you and spill over to your children and spouse and all who enter into your home. Peace wont clean the house but it will make it a home.

You have the authority to speak life into your home and children. It's not vanity or selfishness...it's the Word of God.  Watch New Life come from your words.

Me and my great nephew, Landon Oliver

Landon came to see me on Mothers Day...
He is beautiful and I just love him so much.
